Prof. Dr. İsmail Küçüker was born in 1978. After completing his primary, secondary, and high school education in Samsun, he graduated in 2003 from the English Program of Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in Ankara. In the same year, he began his residency in the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in Ankara.
After completing six years of residency training, he earned his specialist title in 2009 with his experimental thesis titled “The Effect of Denervation-Based Preconditioning on Ischemia-Reperfusion Injury in Skeletal Muscle.” This study was awarded Best Experimental Study of the Year at the World Congress of Microsurgery held in Helsinki, Finland, in 2011.
In 2012, he began his academic career as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Ondokuz Mayıs University in Samsun.
In 2014, he worked as a clinical assistant for three months at the Department of Plastic Surgery at the Free University of Brussels, focusing on Aesthetic and Reconstructive Breast Surgery. In 2017, Dr. Küçüker was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. In the same year, he founded Prive Clinic in Samsun together with his wife, Eda Küçüker, and in 2019 they opened a second branch of Prive Clinic in Göztepe, Istanbul.
Between 2018 and 2020, he continued his academic career as an Associate Professor at the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Medicine in Istanbul.
Throughout his academic career, Prof. Dr. Küçüker has received 8 national and international awards, published approximately 50 national and international scientific articles, and delivered more than 100 presentations and lectures.
Currently, he continues his professional practice at his private clinic in Suadiye, Istanbul.
His main areas of interest include rhinoplasty, breast augmentation, and facial aesthetics. In addition, Prof. Dr. Küçüker provides international training and consultancy in dermal fillers and Botox for various companies.
Prof. Dr. İsmail Küçüker is married to Eda Küçüker and has one son and one daughter.
