With this Personal Data Protection and Processing Clarification Text, we inform you that some of your personal data may be processed if you contact us through comments or direct messages (DM) on social media platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, X, etc. During the documentation of activities and during photo or video recordings, some of your personal data may be obtained. This text includes explanations about the purpose of data processing, data categories, methods of data collection, legal grounds, to whom and for what purposes data may be transferred, data processing period, and your rights regarding your data.
Method of Data Collection and Purpose of Data Processing
For Pineapple Health Tourism Agency, we process your personal data provided via direct messages and comments on platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, X, etc., for purposes such as receiving complaints, suggestions, and requests, providing information, responding to your requests, and executing relevant activities by our departments for these purposes. In case you give your explicit consent, photos, video recordings, and audio recordings taken before, during, or after our activities may be processed and transferred to the institutions we work with if necessary. Additionally, for the preparation and presentation of reports, analyses, and studies by our institution, your personal data may be processed without violating your fundamental rights and freedoms.
Transfer of Processed Personal Data and Purpose of Transfer
Your personal data may be shared by Pineapple Health Tourism Agency with public authorities and business partners upon request, and only for the purposes mentioned in this text.
The personal data processed in accordance with the purposes outlined in this “Personal Data Protection Clarification Text” will be anonymised and continue to be used or destroyed, deleted, or erased when the purpose for processing the data no longer exists as per Article 7/1 of the KVKK, and/or when the legal periods specified in Article 138 of the Turkish Penal Code have passed.
Methods of Collecting Your Personal Data and Legal Grounds for Processing
Your personal data is processed by our institution for its legitimate interests, provided that it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms. This type of personal data is processed with your consent, given in response to your requests for assistance in accordance with the Law No. 6698.
Your personal data may be processed through direct messages (DM) or comments via institutional accounts of our organization for suggestions, requests, wishes, and complaints.
How to Apply to the Data Controller and Your Rights
Under the law, you may always contact us to learn the following:
- Whether your personal data is processed,
- The purpose of processing and whether it is suitable for that purpose,
- The recipients of your personal data,
- Requesting correction in case of incomplete or incorrect processing, requesting deletion of personal data if the conditions are met, and requesting that this action be notified to third parties to whom the data has been transferred,
- Objecting to a result that may occur as a result of automatic data processing,
- Requesting compensation for any damages resulting from unlawful processing,
- Requesting deletion or destruction of personal data when the reasons for processing cease to exist, even though the data is processed in accordance with the law.
You can apply to our institution to exercise your constitutional rights. You can send your request in writing, along with your name, surname, and ID number, via notary, mail, or email to Pineapple Health Tourism Agency. The application method and address will be notified in writing. Your requests will be reviewed and responded to as soon as possible, and no later than thirty (30) days.
